  Story:

  Rintaro Okabe, known as "Okarin," a university student afflicted with second-grade syndrome, adopts the persona of "Kyoma Hououin," a self-professed mad scientist. He leads the "Future Gadget Laboratory," where he and two companions create peculiar inventions. Their accidental creation of a "time machine" capable of sending messages to the past sets off a chain of events involving SERN, John Titor, the old computer "IBN5100," time travel paradoxes, and global-scale consequences originating from Akihabara. Entrusted with shaping the future's destiny, Okarin faces pivotal decisions that shape the course of events.
